SS Educational Services

Behind the Scenes

Do you remember back on the 1st September the blog post ‘Employing Apprentices as an End Point Assessment Organisation’? Time has simply flown past and our first Apprentice, Alex (Digital Marketing Level 3) has just completed 3 months with us. I really cannot believe how quickly that has gone. At the time I had been told by our Marketing Manager that SS Educational Services was not posting anywhere near enough. Fast forward to today and not only are we posting regularly on the blog, with a view to increasing further, but also, in the last 3 months, Alex has ensured SSES has posted regularly on Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin. In the next 3 months we are aiming for Facebook, YouTube and TikTok!

We are making changes to our website in the coming weeks. Extra pages will include more information on the Standards we are/will be offering as an End Point Assessment Organisation.

Alex is learning all about SS Educational Services and this is showing on the work he is producing. He understands the requirements of the End Point Assessment process, as he will be undertaking one at some point. But our sector, early years, children and young people, is all new to him. From SSES’s point of view, what’s happening within our sector directly impacts on the EPAs and that is why our blog and social media cover our sector as well as the End Point Assessments. Alex is beginning to produce images and quotes that are informative and relevant that need hardly any input from his mentor. Encouraging him to learn so many new skills – no problem with his 20% – is something SSES is very proud of.

One of the areas that has been interesting is the statistics from Google Analytics. We are still very quiet compared to larger organisations, but since Alex has started posting regularly, there has been a definite uptake in the number of people viewing our pages – thank you!

Our next post will be the last post for October, and then in November we will continue our mini-series focusing next on the two Children, Young People and Families Standards.
